We all have our favorites this time of year, from carols to movies to treats.
I will share a few of my favorite Christmas verses. I celebrate the Advent season by reading the Christmas story and additional verses that emphasize the reason He gave His life for us.
“The Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’).” Isaiah 7:14
“But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent Him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that He could adopt us as His very own children.” Galatians 4:4-5

Beautiful! I miss having Christmas at your house. I have fond memories of Christmas at my grandparents’ house, with all of the cousins, aunts and uncles. My favorites are Christmas songs, decorated trees, Loney’s sugar cookies and decorating them, hot chocolate with marshmallows, and all of the decorations in the house.
