July 4th Celebration Giveaway

July Giveaway 2020Happy 4th of July! It’s a privilege to celebrate our Independence Day. To add to the celebration, I am giving away to a US resident a copy of one of two novels. They that take place pre American Revolution: Bring Me Near: Revolutionary Faith Book Three (1775) and A Heart Set Free (1770) by Janet S. Grunst.

Leave a comment, perhaps about July 4th or a way that you celebrate, for a chance to win.

Good Luck!

  1. Our 4th of July was a picnic at our house for my 2 sons, their wives and their 8 children (our grandchildren). We played baseball and the kids played in the woods. It was a nice day and fun for everyone.

I was blessed to spend time in with my 82 year old Mom and my 81 year old Dad. We stayed inside eating cold food since it was close to 100 degrees outside. We are going to grill out when it cools down some. We do not do fireworks, but there are a lot of loud ones going off in our neighborhood. Our city has postponed the fireworks until later in the year. Thank you for the opportunity.

  3. Thanks for giveaway on this wonderful Independence Day.
I love reading books like this in this era and would love it if I won because I could read and review the print books. I love books and your books too Marguerite and really hope I win these books.
When I read books in this era I find myself escaping into another world. It’s not only fun but makes me think too.
Once again I look forward to learning about the authors of these books.
    Hope I Win.

  4. I celebrate the 4th of July with a small family get together and delicious food. It’s in the 90’s where I am at and the best part I don’t have to leave my house to see the fireworks because neighbors start putting them off on July 3. So I’m planning to watch more fireworks whether it be out my window or on TV. I’ll be staying inside to stay safe. Probably be spending it with my Cat Daisy Mae too.
    Hope I win.

We went to our #2 son’s house yesterday. Got to see the grandsons and daughter in law. Today we are just relaxing and watching a movie. Got a call from son#3.
I already have Janet’s book. Would love to win yours.
    Thanks and Happiest 4th!

Our 4th of July was uneventful. It’s just my son, my beautiful rescue dog Angel & I. I’m disabled and we aren’t really allowed to do much in the way of groups of people yet around here. My son just graduated (kind of, no ceremony yet) and he’s working on job hunting and finishing his applications for college so that was the extent of our day! It was fine though, especially with how hot it is outside staying in air isn’t a bad idea!

I’m sending you my address….Thank You!! I read more ebooks now but there is nothing like actually having a book in your hands. I still always carry one when I go to appointments (which is all too often!) and wouldn’t have it any other way! 📚💞

I sent another email but know they are not going through to you well. Then I thought about looking you up on Facebook. So I sent it to you in a PM on your author page too. Hopefully you will get that in case the email still doesn’t get to you! Thank you for being so persistent! 😃

Just quietly reflecting on this 4th of July about all the freedoms we have in this country and take for granted. Esp. the freedom to worship God. In many countries Christians are persecuted for expressing their faith and have to gather together in secret. I am most thankful for the ultimate freedom that is found in Jesus Christ.

My daughter and I went to my mother’s for a short visit today. Saw fireworks from our window tonight when distant neighbors set off their awesome fireworks display they provide every year.

We had a nice, quiet 4th. We did go to Cook Out drive thru for lunch but that was the highlight. 😉 Thank you for hosting this give away. Stay safe.

We had a family Zoom chat as it’s my cousin’s birthday and my little cousin’s 5th. We watched TV and read…another quiet day in the season of Covid

Happy Independence Day! I hope you had a lovely celebration. We were planning to get together with some family and friends, but decided that it was safer and healthier to remain apart. So we had hamburgers, potato salad and coleslaw by ourselves. We also enjoyed a most spectacular thunderstorm:) Thanks for the giveaway.

  16. Thanks for the chance to enter your giveaway. Your novels look interesting and especially since they are set in the times of American Revolution, your story is even more intriguing! That era certainly has a lot of activity in it.
I spent the 4rth of July with family. We had a light meal/snacks and then, fireworks! Last nights’ celebration in our area of SC was really full as neighbors all around shot off various fireworks. It was amazing to see and then, the orange moon was fascinating too! 🙂

We had a quiet 4th, but my parents are visiting for a few days. We also live on a lake and lots of people were shooting off fireworks, so we enjoyed that since our town’s were canceled.

My mom had been in the hospital so we went for the weekend and power washed her house and windows, weeded her flowerbeds, cleaned her house, went grocery shopping, laundry, etc We even managed to do a cookout with a few family members and watched a neighbor put off fireworks. She was so happy. Just pray she will come live with me.
